Data Protection and Privacy Policy

TA Tompson ensures that personal data held or processed is collected, protected, handled and stored in compliance with the EU and UK Regulations.  Personal data will not be shared or made available to third parties, without prior consent of the associated individual, unless disclosure is required by law.

Personal data is utilised, as necessary, to deliver services commissioned by the associated company/individual.  Where data is utilised for marketing purposes, the correspondence will be provided with opt-out details, in order that the respective individual can be excluded from any future contact.  Opting-out of contact can be undertaken at any time by e-mailing postmaster@tatompson.co.uk with the heading “Communication Opt-Out” or contacting TA Tompson by phone or letter (contact details below).

If personal data is to be shared outside the company’s database, we will contact the respective company/individual for prior written approval.  No data will be shared outside of the countries subject to EU Regulations, to ensure proper control of data privacy.

Personal data is held only for as long as is necessary.  If an individual requires their data to be removed from the Company Database, this will be carried out within 5 working days of such a request by e-mail, phone or mail.  Identification verification will requested, as necessary.

Request for data (subject access request) held on an individual will be required in writing and will be subject to a £10 fee per access request.  Identification verification will be requested prior to issuing the relevant data.  Relevant data will be provided within 10 working days, where possible.
